FROM FOOT LOCKER AT 14 TO CURATOR OF GRAILS

1998.    I was fourteen years old, lacing up customers at Foot Locker — back when the stockroom smelled like fresh leather and every Saturday drop felt like an event. That's where it started. Not as a hustle. As a love affair.

Those early days were my first taste of the game. When the big releases dropped and the lines wrapped around the building, I was running the raffles , and I learned quick that those tickets everybody was standing in line for had real value. That was my first creative hustle: understanding demand, knowing what people wanted before they got to the counter. I saved my paychecks for the pairs I wanted, read every magazine, memorized every SKU. I knew the story behind every silhouette... who designed it, why it dropped, what moment in culture it captured. To me, sneakers were never just shoes. They were time machines.

Two+ decades later, that hasn't changed. I've watched the culture go from underground to global. I've held grails that made my hands shake. I've passed on fakes that fooled half the internet. And through all of it, I've kept one rule: only sell what I'd lace up myself!

Because every pair I sell is rare — in story, in soul, sometimes in scarcity — and every transaction is real. No bots. No fakes. No fluff. Just real kicks, with real history, going to real people.

Welcome to the Reality.
